Merry Christmas!

Christmas has passed and it was a very good day. I got a big lamb bone, which I finished in about 5 minutes, and I also got 3 new Monkeys! The little Sheep Monkey is my favorite because it's white and fluffy, like me!

I also got a Rib Eye Bone the next day since it was My Master's Birthday, and he went to Fleming's for dinner. But, the big bone gave me a tummy ache and I had 2 accidents! I was ashamed and hid in my room for a long time.

I pray for more Monkeys, more bones, more dropped food, and of course, peace on earth.

May your holidays be bright and I hope your angel will watch over you and your family - like I do with mine :)

Riding in the Car

Hi! One of my favorite things to do is riding in a car. I love to sit up front so I can see everything that's going on. I also like to stick my head out the window and feel the breeze on my face. My Master calls me "The Navigator" and I do a good job of doing that. I make sure that we don't get lost and that the other dogs don't bother us.
It's great to live in Sunny California so I can stick my head out and feel the sun on my snout. Don't worry, I am leashed up and My Master makes sure that I don't fall out. Plus, I'm pretty good at balancing.

It's Raining Cats and Dogs

Rain!
Last night, it rained a lot. It hasn't rained in over 4 months! I'd almost forgotten how it feels. One bad thing is that I got wet when I went out to pee last night!

My master still took me out for our daily walk even though it was drizzling today. She's so nice. But I also bug her all day until she takes me out on our daily walk. I'm good at bugging. I stare at her with my beautiful eyes and say, "Is it time now?? Huh? Huh?" and wait for her near my leash. She always gives in. Ha!

Here I am in the middle of our walk sitting very nicely. I didn't like it because it got my butt all wet. My pretty fluffy butt got all wet, so I wasn't very happy.

Until we got to our park. It stopped raining by then so I got to go running off leash. I learned that staying on the grass is good. Going off the grass is bad. Sometimes I forget and when I step off into the road, I get yelled at and I also get a time out. I have to lay down and put my head down for 2 minutes. Today, I didn't forget so it was a good day!

This is My Life

Hi! My name is Ripley and this is my life.
I am a 5 year old Australian Shepherd and I live in Los Angeles. Everybody thinks I'm a puppy because I only weight 32 pounds, but I'm a Miniature Aussie. Everybody also thinks I'm a girl because I am sooo pretty, but actually, I am a boy.

So, people say, "Oh, look at the pretty puppy! What's HER name?" And I sigh and say, "I'm not a puppy and I'm not a girl!" But of course, they don't listen to me. Oh well. Just as long as I get lots of positive attention, that's fine with me.

Here I am chewing on my rawhide, which I can completely finish in about 5 minutes. I'm a fast eater.

This is my stuffed animal. Yes, It's almost as big as me, but I got it for my 4th birthday. I love my stuffed animals, but I call them "Monkeys".

See, my first ever stuffed animal was a stuffed monkey and my master would ask me, "Where's your monkey?" all the time, so I just figured that's what stuffed animals are called: Monkey. I'm smart like that.

Monkey #1 is all chewed up and I haven't seen him for a while now. My master probably put Monkey #1 into the "No-No Box", which is the trashcan. I'm not supposed to get into that or else I get punished. Darn, I love that thing too.

So here I am resting with Monkey #12. I am soo lucky that I have lots of monkeys. They are very important to me.
This is my first post and I will keep you posted on my life.
