Conjuring Food

Today, I saw a piece of my kibble underneath the chair, but it was too far under and I couldn't reach it. Therefore, I stared and stared at it and used my magnificent mind to move the kibble more towards me. I stared at it for about 10 minutes, and finally my master got it for me. See, it worked! The food came towards me like I imagined. It was well worth my mental stimulation.

Band Aids on My Legs

I have a booboo on my leg and my master put a Band Aid on my leg so that I wouldn't lick it anymore. Since I don't have any skin, it's stuck on my fur and it really hurt when she had to change the Band Aid in the morning. I don't remember what I was doing when I hurt myself, but I seem to always have some ailment or another these days. It's because I'm 7 years old now. I'm an old man! Good thing I have a good medicare insurance plan! Oh, my aching back....

My Socked Legs

I did something to my front paws again, so my master wrapped up my paws with her socks. Since both of them were socked, it felt weird and I walked like an awkward baby. Here's my film debut.

My BFF Icky

Last week, Icky's mom went out of town for 3 days so I got to go visit him twice a day so that he wouldn't feel so lonely. He's half Rottie and half Aussie, so we're half cousins.

We play well together and I like to follow him around his house.

He also has a bird friend name Chico and since I'm not used to birds, I sometimes bark at him. But, when he eats, he drops his food on the ground so I get to eat his "droppings".

Here I am doing my rabbit trick
because my master is holding a cookie. Icky is in the background admiring my abilities. He's hiding because one time, I stole his cookie when we were both given cookies at the same time. I'm very quick when it comes to food!

Speaking of food, Icky is soooo lucky because he always has a full bowl of food for him to eat! My bowl is empty 99.9% of my life so I am very jealous of him. I like to walk by his food bowl and sometimes when nobody is looking, I take a big bite! I wonder where Icky got the never ending bowl of food. Oh well, he's still my BFF.

My Sock

I've been going on 2 walks everyday, one in the morning and one at night, and I think all that walking has taken a toll on my feet. My master noticed that I was licking my back feet a lot, and when she looked at the bottom of my feet, she saw that one of the pads had peeled away and it was red and raw! No wonder it hurt and I was licking it. So, in order for it to heal, she put some liquid that really hurt and then a cream that didn't hurt. Then, so I wouldn't lick the wound or get it dirty, she decided to bandage it by putting a sock on me. I wanted to take it off, but she told me that I couldn't, so I stopped. It feels kinda weird, especially when I walk, but I think I've gotten used to it. I hope that it heals soon so that I can go back on my walks because I love my walks!

Fly Assassin

I saw a fly buzzing around in my house and I knew that he was up to no good. I stalked him and waited for him to fly low enough so that I could kill him. One bite from my strong jaws and then a quick stomp with my right paw and he was good as dead. I am, the Fly Assassin. All you flies out there better watch out and sleep with one eye open because I will get you.

A Battle Scar

My friend Icky has a sister named Lilly, and she's a cat. Last time we went over to play, Lilly was in the house and she was hiding under the bed. I stuck my nose under the bed to bark at her, and she swiped me with her sharp claws at my nose. I started bleeding on my nose and it hurt like crazy. When the wound healed, it left a white scar on my nose. I fought bravely and here is my battle scar. I got awarded "Animal Hero, First Class" medal from Napolean at a special ceremony. I will wear both the scar and my medal with pride and honor. Long Live Dogs!

Christmas Gift

This year, I got a new charm that says "Diva" on it and a big smoked bone. I don't know what "Diva" means, but it's purple and has a nice shiny crown on it. The big bone, I smelled it for a whole week, and it was wrapped up and placed on the floor. I wanted to tear it open all week, but I was very good and I didn't do that. On Christmas, my master gave it to me and here I am chomping it down.

I had to find a good spot on the floor to gnaw on that bone at a good angle. Nomnomnom...
