Let Me In!

On Saturday, my dad was in the garage working, and he lets me wander in the front yard by myself because I'm a good boy and I don't run away.  I was busy sniffing the front yard and when I turned around, I saw that the garage door had closed and my dad had went inside the house.  I couldn't believe that he forgot about me and left me outside!! I went to the backyard fence, but that was closed, and so was the front door.  I tried to open the garage door, but since I didn't have the magic button, I couldn't.  I waited and waited and waited on the front porch for a long time.

About an hour later, I could hear my mommy calling me from inside the house.  She was calling me and calling me and I heard her say, "Is he outside all by himself?" and then she opened the front door.  TaDa! There I was!  She then asked me why I had slobber on my mouth.

That's my secret...

It's Banana Time!!

Every morning, my master eats a banana so I get to have some too. I know the routine and when it's banana time, I rush over to my spot so that he can throw me some banana pieces. He put the banana sticker on my head today. It says, "Chiquita" and I don't know what that means, but I know it tastes good.

Sometimes he overthrows it and it goes over my head, so it gets stuck in the golden gate. I'm scared of the golden gate because when it falls down, it makes a loud noise and I don't like loud noises. When my banana gets stuck, I stare it and somebody usually gets it for me. I'll even wait until my mommy wakes up and then I run over and stare at the banana, and she'll ask, "What are you staring at?" and she sees that it's stuck there. I'm very good at showing people what I want them to do.

I love my daily bananas.

Chicken Jerky Treats

My auntie got me some chicken jerky treats that I got to try today! She said that she was shopping at Costco and saw it and thought of me. She is so nice. This is the bag and I'm trying to open it, but I can't since I don't have opposable thumbs.

But, I have paws, which I use to hold the jerky in place so that I can gnaw on it. I am very good at holding it just right so that I can eat it daintily.

30 seconds later, it's gone and I'm trying to see if I left any crumbs on the carpet. Sadly, there isn't any. I hope I get it again tomorrow.

Thank you, Auntie Mitzi!

Groomed!

Because I've been through 2 major surgeries, I haven't been professionally groomed in a looong time. The doctor also shaved me in different places due to surgery and ultra sound, so I am uneven all over. My mommy thought I was healed enough and stinky enough to get groomed and since she didn't want me to stay cooped up in a cage at a shop, she called a mobile groomer. I'm VIP so they came to my house and I didn't even have to wait in line. They brushed me, bathed me, gave me a hydro massage, and even trimmed the hair that was starting to grow between my paw pads!!

They did a really good job and my mommy said that she forgot how "white" I was! I guess I've gotten a bit yellow and grey. They even gave me a bandana after they were done so I'm accessorized! Don't I look fabulous?

Red Dot Indian

My mommy was cutting beets on the counter and I like to look up at her because she's very clumsy and she drops lots of things on the ground. When it drops, I get to eat it. She often says, "Oops!" so I know that word means "Food dropped on the ground."

Today, a little piece fell and landed on my head and she said that I looked like an "Indian" with a red dot on my forehead. I don't know what that means, but I couldn't eat my dot off of my head so I was sad.

Better Energy

So I feel much better now since all of my various tumors have been removed and I've healed from the surgeries. My mommy's sister practices Reiki so she's been giving me reiki. Last week, she stopped by, and she personally gave me reiki and she said that my energy is much better. I got to lay down and be quiet while she was giving me reiki.

My mommy's been giving me home cooked meals with fresh veggies including spinach, brussel sprouts, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and celery, with chicken breast or salmon. I also get cottage cheese with flaxseed oil (mixed into a quark because I got diarrhea if it's just plain), fish oil, and some vitamins.

Right now, I have all my energy back and people still tell me what a pretty puppy I am! Here I am showing my mommy where my grain free treats are located - it's on top of this magic counter!
